A'Blout Time, the new Stan Blout production offers eight originals featuring his extraordinary accordion work and also includes some material of Pecon, Vadal, Habat, Fedorchek, and
Luzar.
Three original members are together here that recorded on the 1970's project, "Polka Sounds of the 70's". They are Jack Tankovich on sax and vocals, and Dennis Marold on bass and vocals, as well as Stan. In addition, there's Eddie Rodick III on banjo and guitar, Ralph Dellagatti Jr. on piano, and Dave Wolnik on drums.
Although Stan has been in California some 28 years, he actually reactivated his polka playing just a few years ago at one of our Thanksgiving events in Downtown, Cleveland, for which I am most appreciative. He also recorded a few cuts with the popular group of Kenny Zalar and Capitain's Crew.
A distinctive quality style is what you hear in the Blout polka sounds for 2005.
